Now Hiring: Head of Sales

Tuesday, January 30, 2018

Wildsam is looking for a sales and account management leader to help us take the next step in our company’s growth.

About Wildsam

Wildsam creates and markets travel guides, digital content, and experiences that give people meaningful connections to interesting places. Our field guides, praised by The New York Times, National Geographic, GQ, and others, help travelers deepen their understanding of places through unrivaled local knowledge and soulful storytelling. They are printed on high-quality paper in a 125-year-old factory press in Michigan.

These printed guides are our main business today and are sold through our website and to over 400 shop partners across the U.S., mostly in taste-making independent boutiques and booksellers. We also offer custom branded publishing, concierge travel services, and events that bring our pages to life.

We’re a small core team with big plans. Since launching in 2012, we’ve enjoyed critical and commercial success, but we know we’ve only just begun the Wildsam journey. We’re now building the team and expanding our offerings to include new field guides, new forms of storytelling, and new experiences that connect with curious travelers in new and compelling ways.

Our team is based in Austin, Texas. We love breakfast tacos, dig a good dive bar, and dog-ear anything written by Didion or Steinbeck.
